For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Geismar, Planung der Aussat Zentralbild Görlach 5.3.1956 - Letzte Vorbereitungen für die Frühjahrsbestellung der MTS Geismar - Schon vor dem "Tag der Bereitschaft" war das Winterreparaturprogramm der Maschinen-Traktoren-Station Geismar erfüllt worden. Die Zeit bis zum Beginn der Frühjahrsbestellung wird genutzt, um weitere Betriebsverbesserungen vorzunehmen. Die Schlagkartei, die Voraussetzung, nach der Schönebecker Methode zu arbeiten, wird angelegt. Die MTS Geismar will natürlich in diesem Jahr auch nach der Schönebecker Methode arbeiten. Gemeinsam mit den Genossenschaftsbauern und Traktoristen haben die Agronomen die Belastungsgruppen für die Schläge festgelegt. UBz: Jetzt sind die Agronomen Gerhard Lieberknecht (links) und Karl Hacke (rechts) dabei, anhand der Flurkarte die festgelegten Belastungsgruppen in die Schlagkartei einzutragen.
