For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Görlitz, Reichsbahn-Ausbesserungswerk Zentralbild Kahl 1Motiv 25.10.1955 Zur Vorbereitung des Monats der Deutsch-Soejetischen Freundschaft RAW Schlauroth erhielt den Namen "RAW Deutsch-Sowjetische Freundschaft" Das Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk Schlauroth im Kreis Görlitz wurde kürzlich in "RAW Deutsch-Sowjetische Freundschaft" umbenannt. 97 Prozent der Belegschaft gehörenderGesellschaft für Deutsch-Sowjetische Freundschaft an.Die Werktätigen dieses Reichsbahnbetriebes haben sich das Ziel gesetzt, im kommenden Freundschaftsmonat auch den letzten Angehörigen des Werkes für die Gesellschaft zu gewinnen und darüber hinaus,auch ausserhalb des RAW Mitglieder zu werben. UBz: Am Tor des RAW prangt der neue, verpflichtende Name.
