For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEG Kleinwanzleben, Mitglieder des VEG Zentral-Biscan 17.1.1955 Familie Salzmann kam in die DDR Auf dem Volksgut Kleinwanzleben , Kreis Wansleben, haben Günter und Romentrand Salzmann Arbeit gefinden, nachdem alle ihre Bemühungen, in Westdeutschland Arbeit und Wohnung zu bekommen, fehlgeschlagen sind. Salzman war zuletztMelker bei einem Großbauern in Stromberg bei Olde in Westfalen und hatte dort auch eine kleine Dienstwohnung. Als er jedoch auf Urlaub ging und dann noch erkrankte und für acht Tage ins Krankenhaus mußte, hat ihn der Großbauer einfach ausquartiert. Günter Salsmann arbeitet jetzt als Traktorist auf dem Volksgut, seine Frau ist Angehörige einer Feldbaubrigade, die beiden Kinder sind tagsüber in der neuerrichteten Kindergruppe untergebracht.UBz Hans Rescheweki ( links ), der Politleiter des Volksgutes, hat Günter Salzmann in seiner neuen Wohnung besucht und erkundigt sich, ob er ihm irgendwie behilflich sein kann.
