For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Kerspleben, Ablassen des Getreides Zentralbild TBD-Wlocka (2351) 11 Motive 22.7.1954 Das erste Getreide dem Staat Am 21.7.1954 begann die Maschinen-Traktoren-Station Beckstedt bei Erfurt mit der Ernte. Der örtliche Landwirtschaftsbetrieb Kerspleben, mit einem Plan von 11.5 ha Wintergerste, war das erste Land, das der Mähdrescherführer Kurt Landherr mit dem Schichtführer Helmut Christ abernteten. Kurt Landherr verpflichtete sich, in der diesjährigen Getreideernte 220 ha mit seinem "Stalinez IV" zu bearbeiten. UBz: Goldgelb fliessen die Körner aus dem Dreschkasten des "Stalinez IV" auf den bereitstehenden Lastkraftwagen, der das Getreide sofort der Erfassungsstelle (VVEAB) übergibt. So verwirklicht die MTS Bekstedt und der örtliche Landwirtscgaftsbetrieb Kerpsleben die Losung "DAs erste Getreide dem Staat".
