For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Langenweddingen, Einsatzplanung der MTS Zentralbild Biscan 18.6.1954 Der Dispatcher ist immer im Bilde Die Pflege der jungen Saat ist zur Zeit eine der wichtigsten Aufgaben auf dem Lande, Günter Kersten, der Dispatcher der MTS Langenweddingen, Kreis Wanzleben, hat eine grosse Flurenkarte seines MTS-Bereichs, auf den er täglich und stündlich den Einsatz der Traktoren markiert. Er behält dadurch immer einen Überblick und kann schnell entscheiden, wann Umstellungen erforderlich sind. bis auf vier Traktoren, die Strassentransporte fahren, hat er alle geeigneten Maschinen zur Saaenpflege eingesetzt. UBz: Dispatcher Günther Karsten an seiner Einsatzkarte.
