For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Mülverstadt, Modifikation eines Pfluges Zentralbild Wlocka-Schaar-Hacker (TBD) 8.1.1954. Im Jahr der grossen "Initiative" auf der MTS Mülverstadt, Kreis Langensalze. In allen Orten unserer Deutschen Demokratischen Republik sind die Menschen am Werk, das Jahr der grossen Initiativ verwirklichen zu helfen und unser Regierung zu unterstützen. UBz: Der Schmied der MTS Mülverstadt, Kreis Langensalze, Franz Olbert, entwickelte eine Form der Greifer an den Rädern des Anhängepfluges. Durch das Aufschweissen dieser Greifer ist es jetzt möglich, ohne Schwierigkeiten auch auf gepflasterter Strasse zu fahren. Gleichzeitig wird dadurch Material eingespart.
