For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Schlepper, Tanker ADN-ZB Sindermann 25.5.88-pra - Rostock: Die Rostocker Lotsenstation und Verkehrsleitstelle für den gesamten Hafenbereich ist nach umfangreichen Rekonstruktionsarbeiten ihrer Bestimmung übergeben werden. Für die Wachlotsen und die Mitarbeiter der Verkehrsleitstelle verbesserten sich die sozialen und Arbeitsbedingungen. Durch eine veränderte Anordnung der Arbeitsplätze haben die "Schiffsdirigenten" unmittelbar an der Hafeneinfahrt eine weite Sicht sowohl zur Reede als auch zum Rostocker Überseehafen und zum Werftbereich von Warnemünde. Modernisiert wurden ebenfalls die UKW-Empfangs- und Sendeanlagen der Einrichtung. Auch neue Radaralnagen, Windmesser und ein moderner Pegelstandanzeiger sind installiert worden. - siehe auch 1988-0525-4N -
