For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Uwe Preißler ADN-ZB Oberst 17.4.88 Bez. Cottbus: Zum Frühjahrsrennen der Straßenrasportler Rund um Görlsdorf verbuchte der 20jährige Erfurter Uwe Preißler nach seinem Sieg beim Rennen Berlin-Leipzig den zweiten Straßenerfolg in diesem Jahr. Der Bahnspezialist setzte sich rund vier Kilometer vor dem Ziel aus einer fünfköpfigen Spitzengruppe ab und fuhr mit 14 Sekunden Vorspurng über den Zielstrich.
