For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Loschwitz, Leonhardi-Museum ADN-ZB Häßler 17.12.1987-Dresden: Museum- Ein Besuch im Leonhardi-Museum in Dresden-Loschwitz lohnt sich. In dem historischen Gebäude mit schön gestalteter Umgebung werden Studioausstellungen des Verbandes Bildender Künstler sowie volkskünstlerische Arbeiten gezeigt. Fördergruppen des Bezirkskabinetts für Kulturarbeit und andere Laienkünstler stellen sich mit ihren Werken vor. (siehe 7 und 8N). Emil August Eduard Leonhardi (* 19. Januar 1828 in Freiberg; † 15. Juli 1905 in Dresden-Loschwitz) war ein deutscher Landschaftsmaler und Sohn des schnell zu Wohlstand gekommenen Dresdner Tintenfabrikanten August Leonhardi (1805–1865). Er erwarb 1879 die ausgediente, ehemaligen Hentschelmühle („Rothe Amsel“) im Dresdner Stadtteil Loschwitz und baute sie u.a. zu einem Atelier um.
