Berlin, Pergamonmuseum ADN-ZB Settnik 4.2.87 Berlin: Pergamonmuseum- Mit jährlich ca. 2,5 Millionen Besuchern zählt das Pergamonmuseum zu den gefragtesten touristischen Anziehungspunkten der Hauptstadt. Es steht im Zentrum der Berliner Museumsinsel. Die Pläne für diesen 1930 als erstes Architekturmuseum der Welt eröffneten#. Berühmtestes Exponat ist der Altar von Pergamon, zu dessen repräsantativer Ausstellung das Museum einst errichtet worden war. Im Nordflügel (links) sind Plastiken, Relife, Sarkophage, Mosaiken und Kleinkunst der Antikensammlungen untergebracht. Mit ihr sind für immer die Namen solch beruhmter deutscher Archäologen wie Schliemann, Dörpfeld und Humann verbuden. Im Südflügel befindet sich das Vorderasiatische Museum. Die hier gezeigten orientalischen Altertümer aus mehreren Jahrtausenden v. u. Z. stellen eine der größten derartigen Sammlugnen der Welt dar.
