Scherl: Dr. Gebhardt, der bekannte Leiter der Klinik für Sport- und Arbeitsschäden in den Heilstätten Hohenlychen. Bekannt sind auch seine Schulungskurse für Körperbehinderte ADN: ADN-ZB/Archiv Karl Gebhardt, Prof. Dr. med. geb. 23.11.1897 Ordinarius für orthopädische Chirurgie an der Charié in Berlin, Leiter der Madizinischen Abteilung der Reichsakademie für Leibesübungen, Chefarzt der Heilanstalt Hohenlychen, Oberster Kliniker beim Reichsarzt der SS, SS-Brigadeführer, Generalmajor der Waffen-SS. Er war u.a. verantwortlich für die Sulfonamidversuche im KZ Ravensbrück. Gebhardt wurde am 20.8.1947 durch den I. Amerikanischen Militärgerichtshof in Nürnberg wegen Verbrechens gegen die Menschlichkeit zum Tode verurteilt und am 2.6.1948 hingerichtet.
