For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Statue ADN-ZB Hiekel 3.1.1984 Dresden: Der "Ballwerfer", 1907 von Richard Daniel Fabricius geschaffen, hat seinen festen Platz vor dem Deutschen Hygiene-Museum gefunden. Nachdem das Kunstwerk im Zweiten Weltkrieg beschädigt wurde und in den vergangenen zwei Jahren in der Kunstschmiedewerkstatt Peter Bergmann restauriert werden konnte, hat es diesen neuen Standort erhalten.
