For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Großgermersleben, Aufnahme in LPG Zentralbild Biscan 29.12.1952 In der Landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaft "Bördeland", Großgermersleben. Wichtige Beschlüsse für die weitere Entwicklung der Landwirtschaftlichen Produktionsgenossenschaften wurden auf der 1. Konferenz der Vorsitzenden der Produktionsgenossenschaften im Dezember 1952 in Berlin gefaßt. So gab der Stellvertreter der Ministerpräsidenten Walter Ulbricht bekannt, daß auf Vorschlag der Jugend das Eintrittsalter in die Produktionsgenossenschaften auf 16 Jahre herabgesetzt wurde. Walter Ulbricht sagte weiter, daß die hohe Bedeutung der Konferenz darin besteht, daß sie die innere Ordnung der Produktionsgenossenschaften, ihre Arbeitsorganisation und neue Arbeiterweise festgelegt. Von dieser neuen Arbeitsweise haben sich viele Mittelbauern überzeugt und sind der Produktionsgenossenschaften beigetreten. UBz: "Ich stelle den Antrag, mich als Mitglied in die Landwirtschaftliche Produktionsgenossenschaft "Bördeland" aufzunehmen", schreibt der 16jährige Hans Schüssler (links).
