For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB-Klein-Me-Ho-9.12.1952 Die Gemeinde Lehma baut sich ein Kulturhaus. Als die Bauern der Gemeinde Lehma, Kreis Altenburg-Bezirk Leipzig im Jahre 1949 nach einem geeigneten Raum für einen Kindergarten suchten, besannen sie sich auf ein im Rohbau befindliches Gebäude, das nie fertiggestellt wurde. Die Bauern überlegten, daß dieses Gebäude nicht nur den Kindergarten beherbergen könnte, sondern auch eine Bauernstube, einen Versammlungsraum und den Kultursaal. So begannen die Bauern von Lehma mit Unterstützung des Volksbildungsamtes, aus eingesparten Mitteln des Kreises und der Gemeinde - die Summe betrug 30 000 DM- mit dem Auf- und Ausbau ihres Kulturhauses. Bis zum 21.12.1952, Stalins Geburtstag, wird das Dorf die Fertigstellung des Kulturhauses feiern. Die kleinen Dorfbewohner haben bereits ihren Kindergarten und werden von einer Kindergärtnerin beaufsichtigt. Bürgermeister Dähler (Hintergrund) läßt sich von der Köchin, Kolln. Kettnitz, den Speiseplan für den nächsten Tag erklären. |
