For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Neudorf, Getreideernte, Abtransport der Garben Zentralbild Quaschinsky 29.7.1952 Das erste Getreide dem Staat. Am 26.7.1952 lieferten die Bauern aus Neudorf, Kreis Großenhain, das letzte Getreide ihres Solls aus der Ernte 1952 ab. Sie haben erkannt, daß es dieses Jahr mehr als bisher erforderlich ist, die Ernte nicht nur verlustlos einzubringen, sondern auch vorfristig abzuliefern, denn davon hängt die planmäßige Hebung des Lebensstandards der ganzen Bevölkerung in Stadt und Land entscheidend ab. UBz: Getreide wird zum Druschplatz gefahren.
