For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Wittenberg, Hafen Zentralbild Fifo Str.-Kr. 24.V.1952. Siegerbetrieb im Wettbewerb des 1. Quartals 1952 wurde bei den Schiffsverkehrs- u.Reparaturbetrieben der DSU (Deutscher Schiffahrts- u. Umschlagbetrieb) , der Hafen Wittenberg. Die Kollegen dieses Betriebes erfüllten ihren Leistungsplan mit 120,5 Prozent, sie steigerten die Arbeitsproduktivität um 38,1 Prozent über den Plan und sparten DM 18.964,77 ein. Durch die ausgezeichnete Arbeitsinitiative der Betriebsangehörigen wurden die Selbstkosten um 16,2 Prozent über den Plan gesenkt und die Verlustzeiten auf ein Mindestmaß beschränkt. Für ihre ausgezeichnete Leistung erhielten die Kollegen eine Prämie von DM 1500,-
