For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Begutachtung eines Schnellpfluges Illus Illner 25.4.1951 Durchbruch zum Schnellpflügen Bei der MAS Näthnitz, Kreis Borna-Sa., wurden auf Anregung des MAS-Leiters Just durch den Aktivisten Lorenz erfolgreiche Versuche nach der sowjetischen Schnellpflügmethode durchgeführt. Als Anhängegerät zum 45 PS-Lanz-Bulldogg wurde ein Dreischarpflug, Typ MZ 12 der erhöhten Geschwindigkeit wegen zum Zweischarpflug umgebaut. Mit ihm ging Lorenz von der früheren Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit von 1, 8 m auf 3, 5 m pro Sekunde (entspricht Straßengeschwindigkeit) über. Die Qualität der Arbeit war, bei schwachsandigem Lehmboden und einer Arbeitstiefe von 20 bis 22 cm. ausgezeichnet; Lorenz konnte seine Norm mit 236 bis 284 % erfüllen.
