For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Görlitz, Schönhof, Pferdegspann Zentralbild Klein 11.5.52 Stadtbilder aus Görlitz. Durch die Unterstützung unserer Regierung werden die alten Kulturbauten der Stadt Görlitz erhalten und instandgesetzt. UBz: Der "Schönhof", ein Gebäude der frühesten deutschen Renaissance, ist einer der schönsten deutschen Kulturbauten. Der Stadtbaumeister Wendel-Roskopf errichtete dieses Gebäude im Jahre 1526.
