Die Pz. Spähwagen machen "Halt" auf der Straße zw. Schirnding und der Staatsgrenze zur Tschechoslowakei, Siehe auch Grenzübergang Schirnding (Oberfranken, Bayern), Zollhaus: Darstellung in der hist. topogr. Karte 1:25.000 von 1940 auf BayernAtlas. Zu erkennen sind s. Pz. Spähwagen (6x4) "Sd. Kfz. 231" und "Sd. Kfz. 232" Pz. Funkwagen (mit Rahmenantenne) der Wehrmacht (zuvor Reichswehr), gefertigt von den Herstellern Mercedes-Benz von 1930-1935, Büssing-NAG von 1932-1935, und Magirus von 1934-1936. Die Fahrzeuge waren mit Vergasermotoren o. g. Hersteller ausgestattet, deren Leistung variierte zwischen 60 und 70 PS, bei einem Hubraum von aufgerundet 3.7, 3.9 und 4.6 Liter je nach Hersteller.
