For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. In einer großen Motoren-, Maschinen- und Waggonfabrik Die Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG ist die älteste Motorenfabrik der Welt. Sie wurde von Nikolaus August Otto, dem Erfinder des Viertaktmotors (Otto-Motor, 1876) im Jahre 1864 gegründet. Der berühmte Motorenkonstrukteur Gottlieb Daimler wirkte hier als technischer Leiter. Das Stammwerk der Firma befindet sich in Köln-Deutz. |
