Ustilaginearum genus. Fig. 6. Die infizierten Bluten werden durch die Plyphen verwebt, gal- lenartig erweitert. und bilden radiiir nacli auCen wachsende Hyphen- biindel. welche auf ihrer Oberflache die Sporen tragen. Fruchtkor- per des Pilzes anfangs geschlossen, nachher offen und durch die sehr zalilreicben Capillitiumstrange pinselar-, tig flockig. Die Dauersporen kugeb'g. einzeln^ seitlich auf dem oberflachlichen. septierten Hyphen der Capilhtiumstrjinge gebildet, mit. einer Hyphe gleicb keiniend. Die Keiuihyphe bildet an ihrer Spitze eine lange Basidiospore. Nach dem Abfallen derselbcn wandert das in der Dauerspore gebliebene Phisma in die zweite Basidiospore, welcbe entweder unter- halb der abgefallenen ersten, oder haufiger auf einein Seitenast der Keimhyphe abgeglie- dert wird. Die Basidiosporen treiben end- standige Konidien. Die Gattimg scheiiit durcii ihr Capillitium ein Anah)gon zu der Gattung Graphiola zu bilden. Die Sporen keimen in Wasser oder Glukoselosuug nach wenigen Stunden auf ahnliche Weise wie bei Anthracoldea suhiti- clusa Bref. Keimhyphe gerade, 80 — 100 fi king, 15—2 fi dick, die apikale Basidiospore 40—60 fi lang, 1-5—2 fi dick. Basidiosporen, bilden nach dem Abfallen apikal neue Konidien, die inimer ktirzer werden, endlich nur 8—10 fi lang sind. Von Cintractia durch ihr hygroskopisch bei dem Verbreitcn der Sporen tiltiges Capillitium. so wie durch die Keimung der Dauerspore verschieden. Farysia javanica Rac. (vielleicht mit Cintractia Merillii Hennings identisch?): Die Fruchtkorper bald in alien, bald nur in cinzelnen Bluten eines BlUtenstandes vorhanden, gelbbrauu, kuglig, 1-5 —2-5 mm breit, fiockig.
