Bci ciner solchen Gruppirung der ludividucn muss in der Mitte, auf jedcr der beiden Seiten des Exem- plarcs, cine vierfliicliigc Verticfung («r, â!\, cl".., d"^) eutstchen, wo das fiinfte und secliste ludividuum bis- weilcn Platz finden (nach dem Gesetze: Zwilligscbene c"=Poo), wie dies auf Fig. 4 dargestellt ist. Fig. 4 erklârt voUlîommen ein Exemplar der Pariser Berg-Scliule, wclches ich auf S. 403, Bd. VI meines Werkcs (Materialien zur Minéralogie Russlands) be- schrieben habe uud welches hier wieder auf Figur 5 dargestellt ist. Dièses Exemplar blieb bis jetzt ganz unverstandlich. Es zeichnet sich vorzûglichst durcli seine glatten und glânzenden Flâchen e des frlilieren Wiirfels (ohne geringste Spur von Streifungl und durc'li die zickzackartigen regelmiissigen Vertiefungen auf die friiberen Wiirfelkanten (Vergl. Fig. 5) aus. Es ist jetzt ganz klar ersichtlich, dass: 1) Die sogenannten Wiir- felflachen an diesera Exemplare glatt und glânzend sind, weil sie zu den basischen Pinakoiden c, Cj, Cj, Cg, c^ und Cg (welche glatt und glilnzend sind) gchoren und niclit zu den Bracliy- und Makropinakoiden (welche ge- wohnlich gestreift ersclieinen). 2) Eine zickzackartige Linic befindet sich auf jeder von den sogenannten Wiir- felkanten, weil hier eine Gninze zwischen den zusam- menverbundenen Individuen liegt. 3)Diesc Granzlinien (ziclizackartige Vertiefungen) sind zickzackartig, weil dieselben durch gemeinschaftliche Durchschneidung der (jestreiften Fliichen gebildet sind. Ebenfalls erklart Fig. 6 (eine Hâlfte von deniKry- stall mit gekreuzter Streifung, Fig. 2) vollkommencin Exemplar des Pariser «Muséum de l'Histoire Natu- relle», welches ich auf S. 402, Bd.
