BULETINUL SOCIETĂŢII DE SCIINŢE 21 einfachste praktische Methode zur Bestimmung des Kohlendioxyds, welche im Kaliumkarbonat gebunden ist, besteht nun in der Zersetzung- dieser Verbindung mit Schwefelsăure und Auffang-en des freigewordenen Kohlendioxyds in einer Gasmessrohre. Theoretisch soli (wie aus obiger Gleichung leicht berechne^ werden kann) i GrammTraubenzucker soviel Kaliumkarbonat bil- den, dass daraus 497 cern Kohlendioxyd (bei o^ Tempsratur und 760 mm Barometerstand) mittels Schwefelsăure entwickelt werden konnen. Indem aber das Kohlendioxyd in Wasser etwas loslich ist, kann man das aus Kaliumkarbonat durch Schwefelsăure entwickelte Kohlendioxyd nicht ohne Verlust in einer Gasmessohre auffangen. Ich habe demnach genau abgewogene Mengen Traubenzucker mit Kaliumpermanganat oxydiert und die Mengen Kohlendioxyd, welche durch Schwefelsăure aus dem entstandenen Kohlendioxyd entwickelt wurden, experimentell ermittelt, Auf Grundlage dieser Versuche habe ich die Tabelle II aus- gearbeitet, aus welcher die fur i bis 96 mg Kohlendioxyd ent- sprechenden Mengen Zucker (în Milligramm) zu entnehmen sind.
