Ch o o se B feeders ror When you start to grow Breeder Tulips, you are entering the inner circle of many tulip enthusiasts. Among the Breeders you will find some of the most splendid and beautiful of all the tulips. They produce immense blossoms held up by strong stiff stems that sometimes reach thirty-six inches in height. They can usually be recognized by their dull bronze, apricot, and tan shades. Breeders also range into tones of deep Ulac and old rose and yellow and orange-scarlet and mahogany, but they always have that touch of tawny coloring which distinguishes them from the other groups and gives the garden unusual beaut)'. Many Breeders have fragrance. Apricot F 26 in. Deep bronze-bufif, shaded ruddy apricot, and showing an oHve base, lie each; 90c per dozen; $6.50 per 100. Bacchus F 29 in. Dark violet purple; white base. One of the best of the dark varieties. A strong and vigorous grower. 12c each; SI.00 per dozen; S7.00 per 100. Bronze Queen F 27 in. Soft buff, tinged with apricot and bronze; yellow base. A beautifully shaped flower, lie each; 85c per dozen; S6.00 per 100. Cardinal Manning F 28 in. Dull wine red flushed with bronze and edged with orange; base tinged uith yellow. Very large and at- tractive, lie each; 85c per dozen; S6.00 per 100. Copernicus G 28 in. Dark coppery bronze, flushed old rose; interi- or warm brown with yellow base. Very large flowers borne on sturd)^ stems, lie each; 90c per dozen; S6.50 per 100. Dom Pedro F 25 in. Coffee bro'WTi shaded maroon; base yellowish streaked ohve. Flowers large and quite fragrant; com- bines effectively with some of the lighter varieties. He each; 90c per dozen; $6.50 per 100. Golden Bronze E 24 in. Rich golden bronze with dull gold base. Interior mahogany brown with deep chrome yellow base. One of the most striking varieties in this color, lie each; 90c per dozen; $6.50 per 100. Louis XIV G 27 in. Rich dark purple flushed with bronze and edged with golden brown. The circular base is dull blue starred \\-ith yellow. A flower of enormous size and stately bearing, lie each; 90c per dozen; S6.50 per 100.
