LOBELIA.
CARDINAL FLOWER.
A most effective and very satisfactory plant of very
easy culture, doing well in any good soil.
L. Cardinalis— 2 feet. August. A very showy
plant of easy culture. Each, 15c; per doz., $1.50.
Paeonies — Choice Her-
baceous Varieties.
When planted in fall Paeonies
bloom the following year. Well
enriched loam suits them best.
Baron J. Rothschild— Out-
side petals rose, center salmon,
sweet.
Clarissa— Rosy pink.
Duchesse de Nemours—
Rose pink, very large, double;
sweet; one of the best.
Elegan s — Outside petals
dark pink, large salmon center
loose, fine, sweet.
Francis Ortega I — Dark
purple crimson, very large, fine,
deep, double and sweet.
Fragrantissima — Violet
and rose color, very sweet.
Festiva Maxima— Creamy
white, with small center of car-
mine; early.
Fulgida— Very dark crimson:
good.
Humei — Rose color; full,
large and late.
J. B. Rendatler— Lively Sa-
tiny rose.
La Martine— Bright red, full
flower.
Mad. Caste— Beautiful shell pink.
Mad. Furtado— Rose, tinted lilac.
Ne Plus Ultra-Peach.
Perfection — Outside petals rose lilac: inside,
purple and salmon, sweet.
Triumph du Nor— Violet rose, lilac shade.
Any of the above Paeonies each, 25 cents.
Monarda.
HORSE MINT.
Exceedingly effective, in fact, quite indispensable
plants for the border, and equally useful for massing
on the lawn. Plant dwarf and compact; foliage and
flowers highly aromatic. Blooms most profusely.
M. Didyma (Oswego Tea) — 1 foot, August.
Scarlet; very desirable. Each, 15c; per doz., $1.50.
LOBELIA CARDINALIS.
Polemonium — Jacob's Ladder.
Very pretty border plants with fern-like foliage and
handsome flowers. Should be included in every col-
lection. They are of easy cultivation in any good
garden soil, but flourish best in deep, rich loam.
P. Coeruleum— 2 feet, May. Spikes of deep
blue flowers, handsome foliage.
Each, 15c; per doz., $1.50.
