Summary

[edit]
Description

Abigail Washburn is a remarkable talent. And to think she could have been a lawyer.

I liked the way this one turned out (click photo to enlarge). The purple is from the spotlight.

Her short <a href="http://www.ted.com/talks/abigail_washburn_building_us_china_relations_by_banjo.html" rel="nofollow">TED talk</a> is uplifting (and for those who were at TED, this the earlier performance she did as TED Fellow, so you may have missed a gem).

“I see the power of music to connect cultures. I see it when I stand on a stage at a bluegrass festival … and I bust out into a song in Chinese, and everybody's eyes just pop wide open.”
