| Description |
English: Building Entrance on Byway South of Newton Bromswold This entrance and an associated trackway leads to the Butts (target area) that formed part of a former Rifle Range also located within this square. The latter was utilised during WWII and possibly later. The building, with associated hardstanding area, is of the style and vintage of Army construction and so was presumably associated with the Rifle Range, perhaps as a store; the iron gates look a little more elaborate in styling. |
