Summary
[edit]DescriptionBuick Verano (US) - Flickr - skinnylawyer.jpg |
The production version of the Buick Verano. It is the successor to the Chinese-market Buick Excelle. Like the Excelle, the Verano is a compact based on the Daewoo-designed Chevrolet Cruze, though the price tag is considerably higher, starting near $24,000. The introduction of the Verano into the US market allows Buick to enter the compact segment for the first time since the end of Skylark production in 1998. Unlike the preproduction version, which had been built in Shanghai on the same assembly lines as the Chinese-market Verano, the production version US-market Verano is built in the US. Seen at Los Angeles International Auto Show, 2011. |
