Русский: Жабы Стайнегера (Bufo stejnegeri) в амплексусе. Этот вид отличается от других жаб тем, что осенью самцы и самки уходят в горные ручьи, где зимуют подо льдом, находясь в амплексусе, а откладка икры происходит весной.
English: Water toads (Bufo stejnegeri) in amplexus. This species is unique among toads of North Asia by their behaviour. In Autumn they enter streams, and form amplexuses. These pairs will sty under ice until Spring, when spawning happening. |
