| Description |
English: This utilitarian building is a part of the Buffalo Trace Distillery and was constructed prior to the 1937 Ohio River Basin Flood that did serious damage to the Distillery. Likely from the 1920s or 1930s, this building was built in a period during which prohibition on alcoholic beverage consumption and sale was in place, though Buffalo Trace Distillery remained open as one of only four Distilleries in the United States that was allowed to distill alcohol for medicinal purposes. Today, it forms a part of the historic portion of the Buffalo Trace Distillery, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. |
