Description
English: This is a Buddhist stupa at Dhauli Giri Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This is built with the help of the Japanese.This monument lies next to the DAYA river where the great battle of Magadha and Kalinga was fought. The Great King Ashoka saw the waters of this river turn red with blood. He decided to shun violence and adopted Buddhism.
