English: Lowering of Szarvas tér in 1894, photographed from the end of Felső palota (now Váralja) utca towards Döbrentei tér, in front of us is Palota utca with the Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria and the Tabán parish office, on the left is the House of Benedek Virág (no. 10 Apród utca) with the bakery of Lajos Róth, a wooden shed and a temporary depot of materials in the place of the demolished corner house (no. 2 Palota utca), on the right is terrace of Szarvas kávéház. Print published by György Klösz in 1894.
Magyar: A Szarvas tér leásása 1894-ben, a Felső palota (ma Váralja) utca végéből nézve a Döbrentei tér felé nézve, szemben a Palota utca az Alexandriai Szent Katalin-templommal és a tabáni plébániával, balra Virág Benedek háza (Apród utca 10.) Róth Lajos pékségével, a lebontott sarokház (Palota utca 2.) helyén fabarakk és anyaglerakat, jobb szélen a Szarvas kávéház ácsolt terasza. Klösz György 1894-ben kiadott műlapja. |
