Description
English:  : Buda Arboreta. Lower Garden. Budapest Faculty of Horticultural Science of University of Gödöllő. Almost eight hectares area is planted around buildings. The first species are here since 1893. Started on three hectares. Now, can see more than 1400 ligneous species, more than hundred kinds of bulb-flowers withover ten thousands bulbs and 250 varied perennials on more than seven hectares. All the Hungarian bred cultivars and many clones showed. Because the unique climate condition here are possible growing plants of subtropic al origin. Several rare exotic plants growing in the garden thanks to favourable conditions. Situated on the southern foot of the 235m high Gellért Hill.
