Description
Română: Casă, Sediul Uniunii Arhitecților din România, aflată Piața Revoluţiei (fosta Piață a Palatului Regal din București).
This is a photo of a historic monument in București, classified with number B-II-m-B-18600.

Datare: sec. XIX[1]

Adresa: Str. Dobrescu I. Dem nr. 5, sector 1, București. [2]

Imobilul a fost casa politicianului Grigore Păucescu. O aripă a casei a fost demolată în timpul regelui Carol I în scopul extinderii Fundaţiei Universitare Carol I [3](în imagine este în spatele casei Păucescu).

În timpul revoluţiei din 1989 casa Păucescu a fost distrusă. Zidurile rămase au fost consolidate în 2003 și în spatele lor s-a construit, în același an, un turn din oţel şi sticlă, care este Sediul Uniunii Arhitecților din România.

Arhitecții turnului sunt Dan Marin şi Zeno Bogdănescu.
