Title
Buckle asymmetrical top
Description
English: An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle. This is an asymmetrical double loop buckle missing its pin. The pin rest on one loop is decorated with grooves around the slightly thickened rest. The other loop is expanded into two points, with another central point. The buckle is in good condition, although slightly distorted. It has a weight of 8.3 grams, length of 39.6 mm, width of 32.3, and a thickness of 2.2 mm.

Such buckles tend to be attributed a 17th-century date (cf. Whitehead 1996, 91; ref. 571).
