Description
English: Fragment of a cast copper alloy buckle made up of a hoop on the face of which is cast a thickening bar, both of which were wrapped in a strip of sheet metal decorated with a single transerse moulding flanked by three irregular, incised lines. Parallels for this buckle occur in London and elsewhere (Egan and Pritchard 1991, cf 301 and 317)
