Description
English: A Post Medieval copper alloy shoe buckle frame, dating from c. AD 1720 - 1790. The frame is broadly rectangular with rounded edges in plan, and has a concave profile. The frame has two drilled holes to take a sseperate spindle. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p104, number 667.
