Description
English: A complete Medieval copper-alloy double looped buckle, dating to c.AD 1350 - 1650. The frame consists of two D-shaped loops divided by a central bar to which the pin is attached. The frame is D-shaped in cross section. The bar is narrowed from the frame and trapeziodal in cross section. The rear is undecorated. The copper alloy pin is hooked around the bar, D-shaped in cross section and tapers to a point. It is of a different alloy to the frame.
