Title
Buckle, copper alloy, D shaped with pin, Medieval.
Description
English: Cast copper alloy buckle frame and tongue. ‘D’ shaped frame with slightly off-set bar, no decoration. Tongue made from sheet metal, folded to partly form the point. Much loss of surface through corrosion. Difference in colour suggests that the hoop and tongue are of different alloy compositions.
