Enfin, dans son numéro du 27 février, daté du 26,quatre heures du matin, lIndépendance publie la relation complète de la révolutiondu 24. Des voyageurs de Paris ont débarqué à la gare, et la poste a transmis lesjournaux et la correspondance. Sur linquiétude mêlée de curiosité qui avait envahi Bruxelles, et les premièresimpressions produites par la nouvelle, attendue et cependant presque inopinée tantelle semblait effrayante, de la proclamation de la république en France, une lettre Le duc de Brabant, lannée de sa majorité (i853).Fac-similé de la gravure de D.
