Aranyos kút (lit. Adorable Well/Golden Well) St. John the Baptist by Andor Nendtvich (pool) and Elek Lux (1942 (or before) bronze statue), Replaced a former 'Aranyos kút' the Cute Well/Golden Well is mentioned as early as 1324 in a charter. At back Episcopal Theological College of Pécs (PPHF)[1] Foundation stone placed on June 4, 1742, Bishop Sigismund Berényi. The building consecrated on 4 September 1746 in honor of St. Paul - Location: Aranyoskút Square at Káptalan Street Hunyadi Street corner, Belváros (Inner City) neighborhood, Pécs, Baranya County, Hungary.

János (Felállítás 1942, kő medencéjét Nendtvich Andor tervezte 1940-ben, az álló fiúalak pedig Lux Elek alkotása) A kútkáva felirata: "Aki szomjazik, jöjjön hozzám és igyék". az (korábbi) Aranyos-kutat már 1324-ben említi oklevél. (megj. a kút nevére egy cikken belül van kötőjeles, kötőjel nélküli és egybeírt változat is!) ÉS Pécsi Püspöki Hittudományi Főiskola (Hunyadi János utca 11.) ezen épület egykori papi otthon volt majd a szocializmus évei alatt a Dunántúli Napló szerkesztőségi épülete Megj. a kollégium épülete: Székely Bertalan út 2., a könyvtár (Alapítás: 1991!) címe: Papnövelde utca 1-3. Része még a XXIII. János Szakkollégium. - Baranya megye, Pécs, Belváros, Aranyoskút tér, Hunyadi út/utca és a Káptalan utca kereszteződésénél
