Description

Bridgekeeper Teus is an art project by Jan Stroeve. The doll experiences all kinds of adventures as a bridge operator on the Prins Hendrikbrug. Every month Teus is busy with something different in or around his house.

The popularity of Teus is apparent from the fact that his book Brugwachter Teus has been printed for the third time. This book was publiced in April 2019. This describes the experiences of Teus in his last year at Prins Hendrikburg in Dordrecht, before he moved to Den Bosch for a while.

The art project did not caught on in the city Den Bosch. Reason enough for Teus to pack his briefcase and return to his beloved Dordrecht. For residents of Dordrecht, the unexpected habitation of the characteristic bridge water house on Oranjelaan was already an attraction. Which resident of Dordrecht has never stood there waiting to see the sailing boats pass. The people of Dordrecht embrace their Teus. A bridge keeper's house without Teus, the people of Dordrecht should not think about it. Take a peek, what is Teus doing.
