Deutsch: Südwestansicht des Schlosses Prugg in der niederösterreichischen Stadt Bruck an der Leitha.
Im 12. Jahrhundert erfolgte die Errichtung einer Wehranlage (Burg). Diese wurde mehrmals um- und ausgebaut. So Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts zu einem Barockschloss nach Entwürfen von Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt [1]. Von 1854 bis 1858 wurde das Schloss vom britischen Architekten Edward Buckton Lamb in Formen des romantischen Historismus (Tudorstil) umgestaltet und der südlich positionierte Schüttkasten für Wohnzwecke und als Ahnengalerie adaptiert. Der älteste Teil der Anlage ist der Römer- bzw. Heidenturm. Seit 1564 ist das Schloss im Besitz der Grafen von Harrach. Erst als Pfandbesitz und ab 1625 als Erbeigentumː [2].
