| Description |
English: Brownsea Island: postbox № BH15 318 This Victorian postbox is a bit of a postal anomaly, having a BH15 number although it's in the BH13 postcode district. The reason for this is probably that the postcode derives from Sandbanks comfortably the closest part of the mainland but the post now takes the first ferry to Poole Quay in BH15, rather than to Sandbanks. It is also the only address in either BH13 or BH15 which is outside the Poole borough boundary.
The box is emptied at 8:30am, Monday to Saturday. |
