Description
English: Arms of Browne of Abbess Roding in Essex: Gules, a chevron between three lion's gambs erased argent on a chief of the last an eagle displayed sable all within a bordure of the second. As peresently used in the arms of Brentwood School in Essex, founded in 1558 by Sir Antony Browne and his wife, Joan Farrington. Burke's General Armory gives the bordure as azure, not argent[1]
