English: Brown Loaf, New Forest The sandy knoll on the right is called Brown Loaf, presumably because of its heathy brown colour and its conical topography. A path winds its way around to the left of the hillock, with the dismantled railway cutting to the right. The general slope of the heath is down to the left, towards Cranes Moor. |
