English: Broughton Skeog railway station (site), Dumfries & Galloway Opened in 1877 by the Wigtown Railway on what later became the Portpatrick & Wigtownshire Joint Railway branch line from Newton Stewart to Whithorn, this short-lived station closed in 1885. View south west towards Whithorn. The site appears to have been levelled further since NX4544 : Broughton Skeog: Forgotten Station was taken some 12 years earlier. |
