Summary

Description

The wildlife enclosure is located on a former Red Army tank training area - occasionally remains of the military installation can still be seen. The area is partly tree-covered and overgrown with bushes, partly heath, so that it offers a natural habitat for wild animals, with many retreat possibilities. So it is quite possible to walk through the large area without seeing a single animal. The special thing about the park is that the visitors can move freely on the designated circular paths and are not separated from the wild animals by fences or gates. Fallow deer, red deer and mouflon can be found in a natural habitat on an area of about 160 hectares. And of course foxes and hares and various other animals. You don't always get lucky and get so close to the animals. For example, on my repeated visits I have not yet been able to get a mouflon in front of my camera. You have to - and can - take your time. The whole thing is not a zoo and not an animal enclosure in the usual sense, for children it may be a bit boring, but with good guidance it is a sensible thing to do.
