Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Broomhill Creek. A remnant of a tidal creek that once entered to the south of here. Broomhill (Originally Proom Hill) is a lost village that was once situated on the same shingle bar as Old Winchelsea and was lost to the sea around the end of the 13th century. The name still lives on in a number of farms, the name of the beach and the name of the level.
