Brooch pin
Description
English: Brooch pin, cast copper alloy, rectangular section 7.0 x 5.0mm tapering to a blunt point. The other end is bent around to form a 12.5mm diameter loop separated from the shank by a raised area bearing five transverse grooves. Comparable to Egan and Pritchard 1991, Fig. 75, dated to 1270-1400. Length 46.2mm, Width 7.0mm, Thickness 5.0mm, Mass 8.51g.
